Daniel Rich
PE, PSP, CCM, DBIA
Founder and President
Mr. Rich is a Civil Engineer with a focus on Construction and holds a Master's Degree in Construction Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). He founded Rich Engineering in 2023 with the goal of serving contractors, owners, and engineering firms.
Mr. Rich has experience on a wide variety of construction projects including residential developments, marine container terminals, buildings and facilities, and highway road and bridge projects. He is experienced in construction management, quality assurance inspections, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, and has extensive experience in the preparation, analysis, and evaluation of contractor claims for delay, loss of productivity, scope changes, and differing site conditions.
Brandon Steele

Brandon has a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University in Civil Engineering and a Masters Degree from Carolina University in Ministry Leadership. He spent nearly 10 years as the Town of Blacksburg's Urban Transportation Manager, where he led the design, construction, and public involvement for the Town's roads, bridges, shared-use paths, and related drainage and stormwater facilities. He brings more than 23 years of project management experience covering roadway planning and construction, transportation system design, site design review, and full project oversight from concept through closeout.
What stands out about Brandon is his ability to turn vision into reality. He is known for delivering complex projects on time and on budget — often juggling 15 or more concurrent projects, coordinating across public and private utilities, presenting to councils and boards of supervisors, and handling federal and state contract and bid documents. He is just as comfortable in the weeds of construction drawings and specs as he is in front of a governing body, and he understands what it takes to make both large and small projects successful.
